Description

The Esser Loop Module is a key interface component designed for use in Esser addressable fire detection systems, enabling two-way communication between a range of field devices and the main fire alarm control panel. It supports loop wiring topology, allowing detectors, call points, sounders, and interface modules to be connected in a single fault-tolerant loop.

With intelligent addressing and real-time device monitoring, the loop module ensures high-speed data transfer, accurate fault detection, and optimized power distribution. Built-in isolation and short-circuit protection enhance reliability, while modular design allows easy system expansion.

Compatible with Esser’s IQ8Control and FlexES Control panels, the loop module supports up to 127 devices per loop, depending on model and system configuration, and is compliant with international standards such as EN 54-17/18.
